ON THE SEVENTH DAY
He walked barefoot
on the edge of clarity
and darkness
to paint
the light in the radiance
and in the darkness
shyness for shadows
He slept inside
of a cluster of stars
to distill its brilliance
in barrels
intoxicated with
the reflection of the moon
and aroma of oaks
In the gardens of silence
planted coral twigs
He carved in the breeze
the flight of the birds
The northern lights
with melancholy
In all of the dreams
the singing of the whales
and mystery and hope
In his heart the reflection
of your own image
He secretly left
that the eternity became
destination
and left destiny became
rest
On the seventh day
