We all own the place where whales reproduce

Where flying stingrays dance underwater

Where sea turtles lay their eggs

Where hundreds of tons of squid make the ocean steam

Where schools of fish mate

Where seabirds dive 

 

It isn't true that nobody owns this place

And that the first to get there

can do whatever they want

That place belongs to all of us

To our children

and to theirs

And so on
