Canción de las luciérnagas

Canción de las luciérnagas

Llueven como

gotas de miel

incandescentes.

Estrellas enanas.

Hadas de neón.

La montaña prende

sus farolitos de

niebla intermitente.

Comienza la función,

al fondo se escuchan

los tenores de la noche.

al fondo se escuchan

antiguas canciones

que invocan a la vida

al ritmo del amor

Song of the Fireflies

They rain down like

incandescent

drops of honey.

Dwarf stars.

Neon fairies.

The mountain lights

its little lanterns of

intermittent mist.

The show begins;

in the distance, one hears

the tenors of the night.

in the distance, one hears

ancient songs

that summon life

to the rhythm of love
