When War Comes To You

When War Comes To You

When war comes to you,

don't hide.

As when love comes to you,

don't run away,

for from neither love nor war

can one hide.

When peace comes to you,

when friendship comes to you,

cherish them,

because these are things

that must be valued.

They are scarce treasures,

that are growing scarcer every day.

Taste the breeze,

bathe in the rain,

don't stop appreciating

a strange color in the sky,

nor the taste of a fruit,

look into the eyes of an animal,

and do not write too poorly.

No.

I'm not wise.

This is just my advice.
