Dawn Breaks
When the fireflies
flicker out,
the mountains rinse themselves
in cascades of light
flowing from the stars.
The waves steep
the sand in foam and salt,
so that the echo
of their tides
may travel within the dreams
of giant squids
down to the depths.
Shadows stretch
beside the trees
that yawn bubbles
of watercolor hues
tasting of the new moon,
sowing seeds
of jam and honey.
That is more or less
how dawn breaks
on planet Earth.
Amanece
Cuando se apagan
las luciérnagas
Las montañas se enjuagan
con cascadas de luz
que fluyen desde las estrellas
Las olas van marinando
la arena con espuma y sal
para que el eco
de sus mareas
viaje en los sueños
de los calamares gigantes
hasta las profundidades
Las sombras se desperezan
junto a los árboles
que bostezan burbujas
de acuarelas
con sabor a luna nueva
sembrando semillas
de mermelada y miel
Así amanece más o menos
en el planeta Tierra
Sorge l'alba
Quando le lucciole
si spengono,
le montagne si lavano
in cascate di luce
che fluiscono dalle stelle.
Le onde immergono
la sabbia in schiuma e sale,
affinché l'eco
delle loro maree
possa viaggiare nei sogni
dei calamari giganti
fino agli abissi.
Le ombre si allungano
accanto agli alberi
che sprigionano bolle
dai colori d'acquerello
che sanno di luna nuova,
seminando semi
di marmellata e miele.
È più o meno così
che sorge l'alba
sul pianeta Terra.

Quand s'éteignent
les lucioles
les montagnes se rincent
sous des cascades de lumière
qui ruissellent depuis les étoiles
Les vagues imprègnent
le sable d'écume et de sel
pour que l'écho
de leurs marées
voyage dans les rêves
des calmars géants
jusqu'aux profondeurs
Les ombres s'étirent
près des arbres
qui bâillent des bulles
d'aquarelle
au goût de nouvelle lune
semant des graines
de confiture et de miel
C'est ainsi, plus ou moins,
que se lève le jour
sur la planète Terre
夜明けが訪れる.
蛍の光が
消えゆくとき、
山々は身を洗い清める
星々から降り注ぐ
光の奔流の中で。
波は砂を
泡と塩で浸し、
その潮の響きが
ダイオウイカの夢に乗って
深海へと届くようにする。
木々の傍らで
影が伸びていく
水彩絵の具の泡を
あくびのように吐き出しながら。
それは新月の味がして、
ジャムと蜂蜜の種を
蒔いていく。
地球という惑星では、
おおよそそんなふうにして
夜明けが訪れる。
破晓
当萤火虫
光芒渐隐，
群山沐浴在
星辰倾泻而下的
光之瀑布里。
海浪将沙滩
浸泡在泡沫与盐分之中，
好让潮汐的回响
能随梦境
潜入深海，
抵达巨型乌贼的梦乡。
树木身侧
拉长了身影，
它们呵出水彩般的泡泡
带着新月的滋味
播撒下
果酱与蜂蜜的种子。
这便是
地球上
黎明破晓的模样。

Wakati vimulimuli
vinapozima,
milima hujiosha
katika mito ya mwanga
unaotiririka kutoka kwa nyota.
Mawimbi huloweka
mchanga kwa povu na chumvi,
ili mwangwi
wa mawimbi hayo
uweze kusafiri katika ndoto
za ngisi wakubwa
hadi vilindini.
Vivuli hunyooka
kando ya miti
inayotoa kwa miayo mapovu
ya rangi ya maji
yenye ladha ya mwezi mpya
ikipanda mbegu
za jemu na asali.
Hivyo ndivyo, kwa kiasi kikubwa,
mapambazuko yanavyofika
kwenye sayari ya Dunia.
Bình minh lên
Khi những đốm lửa của loài đom đóm
lụi dần,
những ngọn núi gột rửa mình
trong dòng thác ánh sáng
tuôn chảy từ muôn vì sao.
Những con sóng ngâm ủ
lớp cát trong bọt trắng và vị mặn,
để rồi âm vang
của thủy triều
có thể len vào giấc mơ
của loài mực khổng lồ
nơi đáy sâu thăm thẳm.
Những bóng hình trải dài
bên những hàng cây
đang thở ra từng bong bóng
màu nước
mang dư vị của trăng non
gieo xuống những hạt mầm
của mứt ngọt và mật ong.
Đó đại khái là cách
bình minh thức giấc
trên hành tinh Trái Đất.
सुबह होती है
जब जुगनू
बुझ जाते हैं,
तो पहाड़ खुद को
तारों से बहती रोशनी की
धाराओं में धोते हैं।
लहरें रेत को
झाग और नमक में भिगोती हैं,
ताकि उनकी लहरों की गूँज
विशाल स्क्विड के सपनों में
समुद्र की गहराइयों तक पहुँच सके।
पेड़ों के पास
परछाइयाँ फैलती हैं,
जो वॉटरकलर के बुलबुले
उगलते हैं
जिनमें नए चाँद का स्वाद होता है
और जो जैम और शहद के
बीज बोते हैं।
कुछ इसी तरह
पृथ्वी ग्रह पर
सुबह होती है।
Занимается рассвет
Когда светлячки
угасают,
горы омываются
потоками света,
льющегося со звезд.
Волны пропитывают
песок пеной и солью,
чтобы эхо
их приливов
могло унестись в снах
гигантских кальмаров
в морские глубины.
Тени тянутся
рядом с деревьями,
выдыхающими пузыри
акварельных красок
со вкусом новой луны,
и сеющими семена
джема и меда.
Примерно так
занимается рассвет
на планете Земля.
