THE LOVE WE HAVE SEEN
We have seen it
shedding Illusions
inside a cauldron
that burns red hot
We have seen it
assaulting dreams
at midnight
like a shooting star
that melts
in the depths
of our hearts
We have seen it die
in a world
turned upside down
at the funeral
of a sad song
slipping into a vase
of thorns
But it always comes back
with the flash
of a look
in a smile
In a beautiful
word of love
