My Electric Steed

It was all very simple. The president of the World Organization of Countries (WOC) pressed the red button of the Quantum Randomness Generator (QRG), the output number was rounded up to the next global citizenship number (GCN) of the citizens who paid the ticket and it turned out to be mine. That's how I won my electric steed. Everything is auditable and transparent. No one should be surprised that I recommend (to those who ask me about the good faith of the government) to authorize their Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to pay for all government tenders, I also recommend spending twenty-five percent of their medium-term investment budget on bets related to government tenders.
I have a historical return on investment of almost thirty percent despite or perhaps because I do not investigate or think much about such bets and leave them entirely in the hands of my PDA.
My position is this: the government is interested in proving that it is an honest, effective and efficient protector in the distribution of benefits among its citizens, so there is not much risk in participating in its contests and bets, and for prudence one should only spend 25% of what one wants to invest in that, expecting dividends in the medium term (5-10 years)
The question now is: Why didn't I win a lion or a cow, and why an electric one?
The answer is very simple: I don't know.
But we can be sure that if the government is raffling off electric horses it is because in the raffle of things to be raffled off the electric horse won.

I am glad to live in this time, it has been a long road traveled by humanity from the pharaohs and their pyramids to the interplanetary migration projects, we have advanced a lot.
The question now is: What am I going to do with my electric steed?
The answer is that I don't know and that I am going to let my PDA take care of it.

And the angel continued:
On the wood stove a woman will make you food
who likes you very much
of everything that is compatible with an arepa

You will have plenty
of every root that can be eaten
of every kind of tasty legume
you will get fed

But I kept looking at the river
and asked:
Can I fish?
Can I swim?

The angel continued:
You will sleep in that hammock
in that bed
and in that chair too

And your dreams will be peaceful
almost boring
they will never wake you up
you will almost never remember them

The internet connection
is high speed
in the cloud
you will have your digital library

There are no cockroaches, flies or mosquitoes
I have them prohibited
--Said the Angel
seriously and frowning

If you feel like going to the city
you should go to the town
there is a bus every hour
the highway is not dangerous

But I kept looking at the river
And I asked:
Does it start far away?
Where does it end up?

The angel said angrily:
I got tired of your questioning about the river
I'd better give you back
and I woke up

Will come ultraviolet dawns

The civilization of the victor
Its science and its beautiful weapons
Its trade and mind-blowing art
Its pedantic army

The ruined temples
of the God of the defeated
Its hypocritical truce
and its weary surrender

They will float like trees dragged
by the river of history
Antiseptic and sterile
is the sea into which it flows

The machine that will replace us
with all its heart of metal
and its objective and rational mind
will admire the organized ants

Infrared sunsets will come
ultraviolet dawns
and fluorescent midnights
simulated on a computer

It will not become an anecdote
our history
It will be just another piece of data
a value in an equation

evaporate
from the fountain of desires
that have survived
in the burning lands
of the Kalahari
Where drums beat
in the hearts
of the antelopes
and the dew of the stars
shines with beauty
in the eyes of giraffes

After so much work searching in the Amplified Virtual Synthetic Reality (AVSR) the only thing I have found is a door with these letters:

SAND

Abandoned
among the dunes
it squeezes
in that other time
