You have been given a competition
You have given an advantage and you have not cheated
You have no grudge and you have won

fertile, friendly and beautiful
will mend your clothes and your life
with threads of joy

There is the orchard
the wild pineapples
when they ripen
they are sweet, fragrant and red

And if no one cuts them
they explode
they ferment
and taste like cherry liqueur

The tomatoes
are sweet
or sour
depending on the size

There is the tree
that gives every year
three harvests of mangoes
it is grafted

There are avocados, custard apples and strawberries
there are papayas, peaches and raspberries
There is ripe fruit
every day of the year

There is the cow
She is gentle, big and loving
She has to be milked every day
or else her tits will explode

But I kept looking at the river
and asked:
How much of the river is mine?
Are both banks mine?

And the angel continued:
On the wood stove a woman will make you food
who likes you very much
of everything that is compatible with an arepa

You will have plenty
of every root that can be eaten
of every kind of tasty legume
you will get fed

But I kept looking at the river
and asked:
Can I fish?
Can I swim?

The angel continued:
You will sleep in that hammock
in that bed
and in that chair too

And your dreams will be peaceful
almost boring
they will never wake you up
you will almost never remember them

The internet connection
is high speed
in the cloud
you will have your digital library

There are no cockroaches, flies or mosquitoes
I have them prohibited
--Said the Angel
seriously and frowning

If you feel like going to the city
you should go to the town
there is a bus every hour
the highway is not dangerous

Where does it end up?
