My Electric Steed

My Electric Steed

It was all very simple. The president of the World Organization of Countries (WOC) pressed the red button of the Quantum Randomness Generator (QRG), the output number was rounded up to the next global citizenship number (GCN) of the citizens who paid the ticket and it turned out to be mine. That's how I won my electric steed. Everything is auditable and transparent. No one should be surprised that I recommend (to those who ask me about the good faith of the government) to authorize their Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to pay for all government tenders, I also recommend spending twenty-five percent of their medium-term investment budget on bets related to government tenders.
I have a historical return on investment of almost thirty percent despite or perhaps because I do not investigate or think much about such bets and leave them entirely in the hands of my PDA.
My position is this: the government is interested in proving that it is an honest, effective and efficient protector in the distribution of benefits among its citizens, so there is not much risk in participating in its contests and bets, and for prudence one should only spend 25% of what one wants to invest in that, expecting dividends in the medium term (5-10 years)
The question now is: Why didn't I win a lion or a cow, and why an electric one?
The answer is very simple: I don't know.
But we can be sure that if the government is raffling off electric horses it is because in the raffle of things to be raffled off the electric horse won.
It is written above and I will repeat it: the government is very interested in proving that it is an honest, effective and efficient protector in the distribution of benefits among its citizens, so any doubt of cheating and bias can be eliminated.
The whole story is just a massacre of the weak, only in the last three generations has humanity managed to get closer and closer to justice by leaving the decisions in the hands of the QRG, for example: there are one hundred candidates for the course of synthetic genetics IV, all of them have successfully passed the course of synthetic genetics III, but there are only fifty places. During the WOC presidential campaign, the True Church of God (TCG) candidate would surely offer to auction off the seats, a member of the Unified Church of the Prophet (UCP) would surely propose to assign seats by grade point average, and some terrorist from the urban guerrillas of Animal Protection (AP) would surely promise to close the faculty of applied biology, all of them would promise to expand the university, but so far all the resolutions that have been approved in the WOC assembly use the QRG at some point.
I am glad to live in this time, it has been a long road traveled by humanity from the pharaohs and their pyramids to the interplanetary migration projects, we have advanced a lot.
The question now is: What am I going to do with my electric steed?
The answer is that I don't know and that I am going to let my PDA take care of it.
